Hi! I’m Laxmi Prasad Wachman, a children’s book illustrator from Lucknow, India who loves to imagine.

As a child, I was always creating, painting, dancing, trying new crafts, and dreaming up stories. Years later, when I picked up my iPad and stylus, those little dreams finally found their way onto the page as magical characters and colorful worlds.

I also love languages, silly ideas, and making my American husband laugh while our mischievous cat Jiji causes trouble nearby.

Now I spend my days illustrating stories and writing little magical ones of my own. After all,“words are magic, and I’m here to help them shine.” ✨
