I’m Laxmi Prasad, an illustrator from the heart of Lucknow, India, a city rich in culture, history, and the warmth of home. Growing up surrounded by three generations of incredible women and always feeling my father’s guiding presence, I found my love for storytelling early on. Now, I bring those stories to life with my digital paintbrush on my iPad Pro.

Art has always been my way of making sense of the world. From watercolors to embroidery, I’ve explored different mediums, each adding its own kind of magic to my work. Lately, I’ve been drawn to illustrating misty English mornings, capturing emotions and moments that bring stories to life in a unique way.

When I’m not illustrating, you’ll find me tending to my plants, making the perfect cup of chai, or searching for four-leaf clovers small joys that keep me grounded. Life is changing in big ways too, as I prepare for a new adventure with my American fiancé. It feels like another chapter in my own story, and I’m embracing it with excitement.

For me, illustration isn’t just about drawing, it’s about creating a world where imagination thrives. Every book I work on is a little piece of magic, and I love helping authors bring their visions to life.
